An office designed according to Vastu Shastra maximizes cash flow, boosts staff efficiency, keeps partners aligned, and creates an environment of authority and abundance.

Figure 3: High-yield Vastu blueprint for an executive office layout showing elements, zoning, desk placement, and cash storage guidelines.
Commercial Vastu differs significantly from residential Vastu. While home Vastu focuses on health and family peace, office Vastu prioritizes financial liquid flow, authority, executive health, and transactional velocity. The brain of the enterprise (the owner) must sit at the anchor point of the space (Southwest), utilizing earth energy to make calm, profitable decisions. The arms of the business (sales and dispatch) must occupy the dynamic Northwest air corner to speed up movement. When these positions are inverted, the owner feels scattered and the business suffers from chronic cash blocks.
Learn how to organize the physical layout of your office cabins, staff seats, and electronic networks.
The owner, director, or CEO should occupy the Southwest cabin. The executive desk should be rectangular and made of solid wood. While sitting, the owner must face North or East, with a solid concrete wall behind the seat (never a glass window or door). This provides deep authoritative presence and solid decision-making capacity.
Position cash drawers, lockers, and financial files in the Southwest or South of the cabin, making sure they open toward the North (the direction of Lord Kubera, the god of wealth). Keep the locker clean, put a mirror inside to symbolically double the wealth, and never place a cash box under a structural beam.
The Northwest governs air and movement, making it the perfect zone for the sales, marketing, and public relations team. Seating them here keeps them active, accelerates contract cycles, and speeds up the movement of inventory out of the warehouse.
All heating equipment, electric switchboards, server rooms, generators, coffee machines, and pantry stoves must be placed in the Southeast. Avoid water dispensers or filters in this corner, as fire and water in the Southeast trigger server crashes, electric short-circuits, and severe employee conflicts.
The reception area should be clean, spacious, and brightly lit, situated in the Northeast or East. The receptionist should face East or North. Place a small indoor water fountain or aquarium here to attract customers and soothe visitors immediately upon entrance.
